Since 1994, we have been working in Álava to help build a more inclusive and caring society, supporting the social, cultural and labour market integration of migrants and others. We believe in respect, diversity and equal opportunities for everyone.
Our office is an open space for support and community, where we offer essential services such as food distribution, a clothing bank, educational programmes and support with integration processes. Through solidarity and cooperation, we continue to strengthen support networks and foster the holistic development of our community.
Together, we are building a fairer and more equitable future.
Our projects
The association has been actively involved in various programmes aimed at strengthening integration, social support and solidarity. By supporting families, providing assistance to vulnerable individuals and encouraging volunteering, it has made a significant impact on the community. These initiatives have helped to improve the quality of life for many people, foster social participation and strengthen ties between different groups, thereby promoting a more inclusive and supportive environment.

A través del acompañamiento a familias, la atención a personas en situación de vulnerabilidad y la promoción del voluntariado, se ha logrado un impacto significativo en la comunidad. En el marco de la Semana Intercultural, la Asociación de Residentes Afroamericanos ha organizado diversas actividades para promover la expresión y la reflexión en torno a la diversidad y la migración. A través del Concurso Internacional de Relatos, el Concurso de Fotografía Móvil y el Taller de Fotografía con Teléfono Móvil, buscamos generar espacios de diálogo y creatividad que nos ayuden a visibilizar realidades y experiencias muchas veces olvidadas.
